Anticipated Books of March 2022

Bringing you my anticipated books for March early since I’m leaving for vacation tomorrow. I haven't read any of them yet, and indeed I don’t even have copies of some of the ones I’m most excited for because Netgalley rejected me. 😢. But hopefully I will be reading a lot of them next month!

One Italian Summer by Rebecca Serle (3/1/22) - I really enjoyed Rebecca Serle's book In Five Years, and this one sounds interesting if you can suspend disbelief - it's about a woman who goes on the vacation she always dreamed of taking with her recently deceased mother - and somehow meets a younger version of her mother.

On a Night of a Thousand Stars by Andrea Yaryura Clark (3/1/22) - Sounds like this is a dual-time period historical novel about Argentina, set in 1998 and the 1970s about the Argentine "Dirty War" in which many people disappeared.

This Golden State by Marit Weisenberg (3/1/22) - An intriguing-sounding YA thriller about a teenager whose family has spent her entire life on the run, who takes a mail-in DNA test that threatens to change everything.

Woman on Fire by Lisa Barr (3/1/22) - This one sounds interesting - an art history thriller about the search for a painting looted by the Nazis 75 years earlier, as a journalist and a gallerist compete to find it first.

The Unsinkable Greta James by Jennifer E. Smith (3/1/22) - I’ve seen good early reviews for this novel about an indie rocker who goes on a cruise with her dad following her mom’s death.

The Suite Spot by Trish Doller (3/8/22) - I loved Doller's book Float Plan which has not just romance but a lot of emotions.  This one, about the sister of the main character from Float Plan, promises more of the same.

The Book of Cold Cases by Simone St. James (3/15/22) - I loved St. James' last two thrillers with a touch of the supernatural and I love books with a faux true crime aspect.  So I'm all in for this one about a true crime blogger who meets the acquitted suspect from a 40 year old case and begins to wonder what really happened as she gets to know her.

In a New York Minute by Kate Spencer (3/15/22) - Sounds like a cute rom com set in NYC, about two people who meet on the subway and when a picture is posted of them, become a social media sensation.

The Diamond Eye by Kate Quinn (3/29/22) - I just love Kate Quinn’s historical fiction and she’s back with another WWII novel.  According to the publisher, this one is about a bookworm who becomes history's deadliest female sniper, and is based on a true story.

Four Aunties and a Wedding by Jesse Q Sutanto - Looking forward to this sequel to the farcical comedy Dial A for Aunties.

Are any of these on your to-read list?  Any other books publishing in March 2022 that you're excited for?
